Off-Shoulder Obsession

Shirt: Derek Heart, Jeans: Topshop, Shoes: Vince Camuto, Earrings: Kendra Scott, Bracelets: Sequin
Needless to say, I am absolutely obsessed with this top! I hope this brand comes out with this top in more cool designs because I would buy all of them. It is so fun and the colors are perfect for summer. I am loving off-shoulder tops right now. It's one of those trends from the 70's that I have always adored and now that it's back on trend, I couldn't be happier. This top also pairs so well with turquoise jewelry which is my current addiction. These Sequin bracelets from Nordstrom I want in every color. They are so fun and such great quality. Right now I have them in turquoise (which I am wearing here) and also in pink. If you like gemstone jewelry, definitely check them out. Also, try to ignore my awful sunburn in this post. It still hurts! Putting this post together, I am already missing the beach!

Comfortable & Casual

Shirt: Free People, Bag: Free People (old, similar here), Pants: Old Navy, Shoes: Jack Rogers, Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
This weekend we had so much fun visiting St. Michael's in the Chesapeake Bay area. We visit every year and it's always such a nice, relaxing trip. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and I left with a pretty awful sunburn! Nonetheless, we had so much fun. This is what I wore when we went into town the first day. These tops from Free People are a little overpriced but they are SO comfortable and come in so many great colors. This color is my favorite of the bunch and looks so great paired with white pants.

Peach on Peach

Sweater: Loft (on sale!), Skirt: J. Crew, Shoes: J Crew, Bag: Tory Burch, Earrings: J. Crew

I am thinking that I want to start sharing a work outfit on the blog every other week just to give those of you that work in an office setting some ideas. This is the outfit I wore yesterday! It was really comfortable. professional and I love the bright colors. When a lot of people think of Corporate jobs, they think of black or gray or khaki. I like adding a lot of color but still in a professional, polished way. I have this skirt from J. Crew Factory in several colors. Although they don't carry this in peach anymore, they do have several other fun colors!

NYC Weekend

I had so much fun this past weekend visiting a friend in NYC. I had planned to take a bunch of outfit photos while we were there but it was such a busy and brief trip! I also completely forgot to bring my normal camera. I figured I would just share a couple of photos from the weekend (which primarily involve food—obviously). I am going to try to get as many posts up as possible this week before going out of town for Memorial Day weekend.

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!

Comfortable and Chic

Dress: Windsor, Shoes: Vince Camuto (love them in gray too), Earrings: Kendra Scott. Clutch: Hobo, Lipstick: Colourpop "I heart this"

Needless to say, I am absolutely in love with this dress. I placed a big order from Windsor a couple of weeks ago and this was definitely my favorite purchase. It is so comfortable, flowy and effortless. You can dress it up a little more like I have done here, or you can just throw it on with a pair of sandals on the go. It would even be cute over your swimsuit! Windsor has really trendy, adorable clothes for great prices. They also always have awesome sales.

These Vince Camuto shoes are also to die for! Not only are they versatile, but I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are. Finally, I have to talk about the lipstick I'm wearing here. Colourpop is my latest obsession when it comes to lip products. Their lippie stix are so pigmented and only $5 a piece. They come in a great variety of colors. If you go to their website now and sign up for their emails, you can get $5 off your next purchase--which essentially gets you a free lippie stick! Make sure to check it out.

Typical Afternoon

Top: Zara. Jeans: Topshop, Shoes: Vans, Bag: Free People-Old (Similar Here & Here), Necklace: Kendra Scott, Sunglasses: Ted Baker (These are the same glasses, just different color), Lipgloss: Nars Angelicka

Every night after I get home from work, Steven and I try to take Toby for a long walk around our neighborhood. (Not all of them end in photoshoots). The weather has been so great in DC--today it was almost 90 degrees!

This outfit isn't anything earth-shattering; just my typical every day, comfortable style. I have been absolutely obsessed with these Vans lately to just throw on with any casual outfit. I remember owning Vans in high school and loving them so I am glad they are making a comeback! The necklace I am wearing here has also been getting a lot of love from me. Kendra Scott jewelry has become my new addiction. All of her jewelry features beautiful gemstones in such simplistic, adorable settings.

Memorial Day Weekend

Sunglasses: Kate Spade, Tunic: J. Crew, Bracelet: Sequin, Bikini: Topshop,
Wedges: Sole Society, Tote: Tory Burch
Sorry it has been a little while since my last post! My day job has been pretty crazy the last few weeks so it has been hard to find a time to sit down to create some good blog content. I am back on the grind though and excited to start spring/summer fashion posts.

Every Memorial Day weekend, we typically spend it with my family in the Chesapeake Bay area. I am so excited for our trip this year--I am in desperate need of sun and relaxation. Here are a couple of my fashion picks for a Memorial Day weekend getaway and the beginning of pool season! I know it isn’t patriotic but who doesn’t love a good pineapple tote?
