4th of July Outfit Inspo--2 Easy Looks

Dress, Clutch, Mules, OTS Top, Sandals, Shorts, Earrings
Happy Friday loves! Hope you had a great week and have some fun weekend plans ahead. I am officially done with my class so I'm planning to relax at the pool, drink lots of wine and of course get in some outfit shoots! I seriously wish so badly that I had Monday off but I only have Tuesday. Do you guys have any fun plans for your long holiday weekend?!

I just wanted to share 2 easy outfit ideas for 4th of July depending on what your plans are! We are planning to bbq and go see fireworks with friends so I will definitely be styling something more similar to the second look. This red off-the-shoulder top has been on my radar forever and so has the clutch everyone is talking about!

Date Night Chic + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Top: Nordstrom Rack (almost identical here), Jeans: Articles of Society, Mules: Sam Edelman, Bag: Vince Camuto, Sunnies: Karen Walker, Hoops: Gorjana
Happy Wednesday loves! Hope you're having a great week so far. I'm definitely ready for the extra day off next week! We're also only a couple weeks out from our trip to Cape Cod with the family. Every summer for the last few years we have either done a trip to Lake George or Cape May and this will be our first year doing Cape Cod. We didn't do a trip last year because my cousin got married than my wedding was a few months following! I'm just SO excited. My family is SO much fun together! We have been doing family vacations together since we were babies and this will be the first one where both my cousin and I are going with our hubbies as married ladies! Where does time go?!

If you guys have been following me since the beginning you will recognize this spot! This used to be where I shot almost all of my outfit posts but since we moved into our house it's not super close. We decided to get dinner and margaritas at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants and stopped at this spot on the way to get an outfit shoot in! It was the perfect date night look.

Happy Monday loves! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Mine was pretty much everything I needed after such a crazy week! I had some down time so I was able to get a head start on my final graphic design project for my last week of class which is awesome and Steven and I had such a blast together the rest of the time. Saturday we went out for a long happy hour with quite a few margaritas and yummy Mexican food. I'm sure you saw if you follow me on IG but Sunday, we went to the gorgeous Great Falls Regional Park and got in a nice hike with gorgeous views! Toby had so much fun and it was great to get outdoors and soak in the gorgeous weather!

Because I really wanted to keep this weekend sort of laid-back going into the last week of my class, I was only able to get in one outfit shoot which will be up on Wednesday but I thought for today it would be fun to do an Insta round-up!

Summer Shoes You Need!

Striped Espadrilles, Bow Mules, Slide Sandals, Neutral Slip-Ons, Espadrille Wedges, Leopard Slides, Red Mules
Happy Friday y'all! Hope you had a great week and have some fun weekend plans ahead. Mine aren't super exciting--I'm mainly going to be working on my final project for my graphic design class since next week is the last week of the course! It seriously flew by! The weather is supposed to be gorgeous though so I definitely want to get some pool time in.

The last few months I have been shoe obsessed and there are so many adorable ones for summer right now! These are a few that I have or have had my eye on! You know I wear my bow mules like crazy but I also wear these red mules a ton. They are such an awesome statement piece. I also wear my Sam Edelman Berit sandals a bunch--I have the gold pair but now I have my eye on these neutral brown ones! Next on my list are the Soludos striped espadrilles--they are SO darn cute and I find espadrilles to be incredibly comfortable.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!!

Perfect Concert/Festival Dress + FF Link-Up!

Dress: BCBG, Mules: Sam Edelman, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Sunnies: Ray-Ban
Happy Wednesday guys! It's going to be another short post for me because I just feel like I can't keep up with my life right now. My class will be over next week so for a few months life will be somewhat back to normal...until I start a graphic design bootcamp in September. More on that later...

I wore this GORGEOUS dress to the Eric Johnson concert a few weeks ago and it was just perfect for the occasion. If you guys have any summer concerts coming up or fun festivals I feel like this would be just perfect! It's obviously also just adorable for brunch with the gals or date night! This dress comes in another super gorgeous pattern as well--I really want that one too!

Versatile Dress Styling with Boohoo!

Dress: Boohoo (c/o), Clutch: Boohoo (c/o), Heels: Sam Edelman (also LOVE these), Earrings: Kendra Scott
Happy Monday loves! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had such a fun but also relaxing weekend with family. My parents came to our house to celebrate Father's Day and we went to a huge food tasting event nearby. The food was all so yummy and it was just a blast. After that we went out for drinks at a restaurant which is right on a lake near our house. It kept calling for rain but we were lucky with sun all day! Also--sorry I missed my Friday post! It was just one of those weeks.

Today I am SO excited to be sharing this look with  you from the Boohoo Prom Range! I was truly so excited Boohoo reached out to me to collaborate because I have shopped them before a few times and have found that their items are awesome quality for such a great price-point. The great thing about Boohoo's prom collection is the dresses are incredibly modern, versatile and can be styled for WAY more than just prom. As someone who is in her late twenties, I found all of their dresses SO adorable and perfect for attending a wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, cocktail party and honestly just for a fun date night with the hubby! For any of you bride-to-be's they have ADORABLE white dresses for your bridal shower, Bachelorette party or rehearsal dinner.

My cousin recently had her junior prom and something I have noticed is that though girls do still get dressed up, it's definitely trendy to be a little bit more casual! I LOVE this trend because it means you're not dropping a ton of money on a dress you can wear only once. If you have any upcoming occasions, make sure to check out Boohoo. You can literally shop an entire look from dress to accessories and stay under $100 depending on what you select. This floral dress will definitely get a ton of wear all summer!

*Thank you to Boohoo for sponsoring and collaborating with me on this post! All opinions are my own.

Summer Uniform + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Top: Zara (Identical version--Express), Jeans: Joe's Jeans, Mules: Sam Edelman, Sunnies: Karen Walker, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Necklace: Kendra Scott
Happy Hump Day loves! Hope you're having a great week so far. I feel like until July I'm just going to be running on fumes so sorry if my posts continue to be a little brief. This graphic design class, on top of a full-time job, on top of essentially a part time job with blogging has me sort of stressed! But don't get me wrong, I'm loving every minute of my class. This week was a little more intense because we had four projects due and a decent amount of coursework. It really is so fun being a "student" again though!

I have probably worn this top about 100 times since I got it a month or two ago. A white tank and jeans is just the easiest and most timeless look that I always turn to if I'm not sure of what to wear. I love the babydoll style of this tank--I think it looks so flirty and feminine with my favorite bow mules!

Flouncy Floral Romper

Romper: Urban Outfitters (sold out, similar here and here), Hat: South Moon Under, Tote: J. Crew, Heels: Sam Edelman, Necklace: Kendra Scott
Happy Monday! Ours was so much fun since we had my cousin and her boyfriend visiting! Friday night we all went out for dinner and drinks then Saturday, we got drinks and appetizers at a restaurant right on the lake near our house then went to the big county festival/fair. It's super fun to go every year--they always have good bands and the local Virginia wineries plus of course rides and yummy funnel cake! This year the bands were Everclear and Vertical Horizon--major throwback but SO good!

I am SO bummed out that this romper sold out because it is such a great summer piece! I love the flouncy shorts and the pretty floral print. I'm super into dark florals right now and I feel like it's a good thing because they will all transition well into fall. I linked to a few ADORABLE and very affordable rompers that have a similar dark floral print!

Weekly Favorites

Happy Friday loves! Hope you've had a great week. I am definitely SO ready for the weekend after a super long week. I had my big presentation at work on Wednesday (which went very well thank goodness) and this is the first full week of my graphic design class so I'm just feeling a little exhausted! My cousin from Boston is actually visiting with us this weekend so that will be super fun.

It's been a while since I've done one of my weekly favorites posts but I definitely have quite a few I wanted to share. Linking up with Amanda from Meet At The Barre!
Favorite Shoes: Needless to say, these bow mules are on repeat over and over and OVER! No questions asked, you need them in your collection. I also just got these sandals and they're so good!
Favorite Lip Combo: I have been LOVING BareMinerals "Om" liquid lip + Mac "Stripdown" liner. It's the perfect nude lip. Also loving Mac "Cherish" with the same liner. Nude lips all the way!
Favorite Accessories: My favorite accessories at the moment are both jewelry pieces. I have been wearing this necklace and these earrings almost every day!
Favorite Article: This article about how to be competitive in your industry and also I discovered Dribble since I'm taking my graphic design course and oh my goodness! If you want to just scour beautiful designs this is the place to be. Super inspirational!
Favorite Outfit Post: I just LOVE Daryl-Ann's style so much. I feel like she is one of my kindred spirits when it comes to fashion and this look is just so effortlessly chic for date night! Do any of y'all have other bloggers who you feel like you totally identify with style-wise?
Favorite Book: I'm currently reading and LOVING The Nightingale. It's about two sisters living in German-occupied France and it's just so beautifully written!
My Graphic Design class is also a random favorite but I am just loving it so far. I had my first session with my mentor last night and he is SO nice and has so much knowledge to share. I feel like I'm totally in my element even though I don't really know what I'm doing yet!

I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!!
xoxo

Bow Mules & Eyelet + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Shell: Anthropologie, Jeans: BlankNYC, Mules: Sam Edelman, Bag: J. Crew, Earrings: J. Crew
Happy Wednesday y'all! I apologize for the brief post today--I'm SO exhausted because we went to the Eric Johnson concert last night at the Birchmere in Alexandria AND I have a big presentation this afternoon so I'll be prepping for that all day.

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have been overloaded with pictures of these bow mules because I'm absolutely obsessed. I don't know if I've ever loved a pair of shoes more! This eyelet top has also been on repeat because I think it's just so cute and feminine for summer!
