Ruffle Knit

Sweater: Endless Rose (also here), Jeans: BlankNYC, Hat: Nordstrom (old, similar here), Shoes: Vince Camuto (old, similar here and here)
Happy Monday loves! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. This weekend was great but it flew by SO fast. Saturday, Nicole and I went to Bartaco and it was so fun/delicious. If y'all ever visit a place with a Bartaco, you definitely have to check it out. It's one of our favorite restaurants and their margs are amazing! Sunday, we spent the morning running errands and then went to dinner with several of our friends who we haven't seen since we moved into the new house! When you have Mexican and margs two days in a row, you know the obsession is real.

This ruffle sweater is SO cute and such a great transitional piece. Statement sleeves and ruffles are super on trend right now so this is the best combination of both! It's also heavy enough that it keeps you warm during the spring months where the weather is just starting to warm up! Also I HAVE to mention these jeans. They're my new favorites and are under $100 which I think is a great deal for good quality jeans!

PS-Did any of y'all watch the Oscars?! I fell asleep before the awkward mix-up at the end!!

February Favorites

Loafers, Perfume, Sweater, Necklace, Lipstick, Sheet Mask, Candle, Sunglasses, Eyeshadow Palette
Happy Friday darlings! Hope you had a great week and have some fun weekend plans ahead. I just LOVE 4 day weeks--you blink and it's already the weekend again! I'm excited to actually have some down time this weekend because I feel like we've been going nonstop lately. The only plan I have right now is meeting up with one of my bridesmaids, Nicole, for Bartaco on Saturday! Aside from that I really want to clean the house a little and finish writing thank you cards for the shower.

I'm definitely going to try to do a favorites post once a month from now on because I just love talking about my favorites and also have so much fun reading what others are loving! This month I've really been going a little more light and natural on my make-up so I love this Anastasia palette for all the neutrals and just putting one of their shimmery shades all over the lid! I also am really into this super neutral lip color in Meringue from Bite Beauty! If you're into nudes that actually have a little bit of color and rosy undertones, you will love this. I can't believe I forgot to include it but I am OBSESSED with the NARS Tinted Moisturizer as well. I haven't used regular foundation in forever and have just been using this as my base--it's so natural and hydrating! I have also been doing masks regularly the last few months and this one is my favorite so far that I've tried from Sephora! I also really like the Glam Glow Hydration and the Dr. Jart+ Water Replenishment. I have really dry skin so these work wonders!

Also have to mention my Kendra Scott "Elisa" necklace because I recently re-discovered it and have been wearing it nonstop. I bought this probably 2 years ago and used to wear it all the time but stopped about a year ago. I found it in my jewelry box and now I can't stop wearing it! It's so perfect for layering and neutral so it goes with every look.

What have y'all been loving this month?! Would love to hear in the comments!

Comfy & Casual Vibes + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Sweater: Madewell, Cami: Silence + Noise (love these!), Jeans: Topshop, Shoes: Steve Madden, Bag: BP

Happy Wednesday loves! Hope you're having a great week so far. Always love a 4 day week because it just flies by although it also means that it's super busy at work with everything being crammed in before the weekend. Steven and I are also still working on unpacking all of our gifts from the shower this past weekend which is definitely not a bad problem to have! I can't believe how many gifts we've already received and this was just the first of three showers! This weekend was so much fun but goodness-we ate SO much and nothing too healthy. I'm considering doing the Whole 30 again but I'll probably just stick to eating clean because I feel like the Whole 30 isn't as realistic for Steven and I long-term leading up to the wedding. If you guys have any good healthy/clean recipes, I would love to hear!

This outfit has essentially been my go-to on the weekends. These Topshop jeans plus a comfy cardi plus these super easy Steve Madden slide-on sneakers are so great for a put-together but still comfortable look! I really want to get more of these slide-ons in tan and grey for spring. They're just so great especially with more traveling coming up.

Bridal Shower Attire

Dress: Zara (sold out, similar here and here), Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Choker: Baublebar, Heels: BCBG
Happy Monday loves! Hope you had a fabulous weekend and hopefully are still enjoying it if you also have today off. Linking up with Biana from B Loved Boston for today's post! Sorry in advance for the shorter post but we're currently on the road heading back to VA. The shower was SO much fun and I'll definitely share more on Wednesday. It was so great to see Steven's family and even meet more of his extended family along with some of my college friends and my Matron of Honor Maxine came! It was Steel Magnolias themed which was SO adorable and a total surprise! It's my all-time favorite movie so I was beyond thrilled!

This dress was perfect because I was only told to wear pink. Naturally I saw this blush and velvet dress and immediately fell in love! It was perfect for the "Blush & Bashful" theme! It did sell out shortly after I purchased it but I linked to one identical but in a different lime green color and another that is also similar in blush.

Sultry Date Look + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Top: Zara (sold out, similar here and here), Jeans: Joe's Jeans, Boots: Steve Madden, Bag: BP
Happy Wednesday y'all! Hope you're having a great week so far and had a wonderful Valentine's day. I'm excited because tomorrow is technically my Friday. Steven and I are heading out tomorrow night to drive to South Carolina for one of my bridal showers with his family and some of my SC friends! I'm so excited because I haven't seen his family in FOREVER and the theme of the shower is going to be a total surprise. With that being said, I'm going to skip my Friday post so I can spend time with everyone but I'll definitely be posting more from the weekend on IG stories (I swear I'm going to get better at using it one of these days) so make sure to follow along!

Like I mentioned, Steven and I went out to dinner last Friday to celebrate Valentine's day and I wanted to wear something a little more "sultry" so this sheer top from Zara was the perfect pick. I picked it up during the Zara sale for a great price but it did sell out. I linked to a few that are SUPER similar and just as GORG.

Hope y'all have a fabulous rest of your week and I'll be back to my normal posting schedule on Monday!

Coziest Blush Cardi + New Video!

Cardigan: H&M (in grey), Tee, H&M, Jeans: Topshop, Flats: New Look via Asos, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff, Necklaces: Baublebar
Happy Monday loves! Hope you had a fabulous weekend. Mine just FLEW by because I feel like we were constantly doing something! Linking up with Biana from B Loved Boston, Style Elixir and Trendy & Tidy for today's post! Friday night, Steven and I went out to dinner and drinks to celebrate an early Valentine's day. I always love our date nights! Saturday I got coffee with my friend Allison and it was so nice to catch up with her. After that we went right back out for dinner with the family! Sunday, I got a manicure and wrapped up decorating our bedroom finally. You'll probably start seeing it more on Instagram because now that we have a full length mirror I can get more every-day outfit shots in!

As y'all already know, I have a blush obsession year round but especially when spring arrives. It's definitely still winter but this week was a tease with warmer weather and it's making me so ready for spring trends! I got this cardi from H&M for a great price and it's so incredibly soft. I'm going to get a ton of wear out of it throughout the whole year!

In other news, I came out with another YouTube video yesterday just sharing a couple easy weekend looks that are all relatively affordable! Make sure to check it out below!

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas [My Picks]

Throw, Candle. Bag, Neck Scarf, iPhone Case, Perfume Set, Tote, Gummies, Bracelet
Happy Friday loves! Are any of you guys experiencing the weird weather that was this week?! It was 60 degrees all week then randomly Thursday we got snow flurries now it's back up towards the 60s this weekend. So SO strange! All I'm saying is the weather better be WAY less fickle on April 29th haha. This weekend I'm grabbing coffee with one my old co-workers Saturday morning then we're having our (other) engaged friends over that night for drinks and dinner and maybe some scary movie watching! Sunday, I'm planning to do a little home decor shopping because honestly I've been so busy with the wedding stuff the last few months, I sort of took a break from doing anything cute to the house!

Since Steven and I have quite a lot going on with the wedding, we're staying really low-key this year for Valentine's day and instead of gifts we're just going to go out for a nice dinner and drinks. However, doesn't mean I can't eye a few adorable gift ideas! Not to mention it's an excuse to look at everything blush which y'all know I ADORE. I'm really tempted to purchase this Sole Society bag--it's SUCH a great dupe for the YSL!

Do you guys have any fun plans for Valentine's day?! Have an awesome weekend!!

Athleisure Addiction + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Bomber: H&M, Sweatshirt: Nordstrom Rack (identical here), Leggings: Zella, Hat: Lululemon (almost identical), Sneakers: Nike
Happy Wednesday loves! Hope you're having a great week so far. First off, it was such a relief hearing so many of you tell me in my last post that you decided to do your own make-up too for your wedding! I felt really bad about changing my mind but it just reinforced that I made the right decision. Thanks for all the encouragement!

I am SO into this athleisure trend lately. I love that you can look super cute and "trendy" while also wearing incredibly comfortable clothes! I picked up this adorable cut-out sweatshirt from Nordstrom Rack but I feel like y'all could totally DIY a sweatshirt from Wal-Mart or something and get the same effect. Also have to shout out these sneakers. If you're looking for a good pair of sneakers that are great for the gym but also look really cute with jeans--definitely check these out! I picked them up when I was in NYC last and I am OBSESSED.

Pop of Orange

Jacket: BlankNYC, Turtleneck: Asos (sold out in orange), Jeans: Topshop, Boots: Topshop, Sunnies: Ray-Ban
Happy Monday loves! Hope y'all had a wonderful weekend. Linking up with Biana from B Loved Boston, Style Elixir, and Trend Spin for today's post! I had a super fun weekend filled with wedding excitement. Saturday, I had my hair and make-up trials and then Sunday had my dress fitting. Dress fitting went very well--they actually don't have to make too many alterations which is great. Hair and make-up went well although--ultimately I've decided to do my own make-up. She did SUCH a gorgeous job but for those of you who are "make-up enthusiasts" (for lack of a better word), I'm sure you'll feel me. I just prefer the way I do my make-up and at the end of the day I want to feel my prettiest and most comfortable! Saturday night, one of my bridesmaids was in town so four of us went out for Thai. It was so fun!

Are any of you getting tired of seeing this jacket?! I'm a little bit obsessed especially recently I've been wearing it SO much. I love the warm tones of the jacket paired with this burnt orange turtleneck. Talk about a good investment piece!

Wedding Planning Update + Tips [Less than 90 days!!]

Photo Cred: Kirsten Smith Photography
Happy Friday y'all! Coming at you guys today with another wedding post and I am so excited to be writing this one because we are officially less than 3 months out. I don't know how many times I can say time flies but y'all--it REALLY has just flown by. When Steven and I got engaged, we were 21 months out so now to be at just a couple months is pretty insane.

At this point obviously all of our vendors are booked. We did have a little bit of a hiccup with the officiant situation but it is all worked out now! I made a HUGE "master to-do list" for the next few months and I'm actually thinking about creating a template from this list so I can share it with any of you bride-to-be's. I have found it so helpful to just go in and cross things off this massive list. Between now and the wedding it's really just getting some of the smaller decor items, collecting RSVPs and working on the seating chart, finalizing everything with my vendors, plus enjoying my 3 upcoming bridal showers and Bachelorette party! This weekend I have my hair and make-up trial plus my very first dress fitting so that's exciting. I'm also going to test out a traveling spray-tan company this month. I love the idea of someone coming to your house to give you a spray-tan! Totally worth the money.

Also--have any of y'all tried lash extensions?! I want to get them this month and just get refills up until the wedding but I'm sort of nervous because I've read horror stories about people having a bad reaction to the glue. Would love to hear your thoughts if you've had them!

My 5 Wedding Tips (90 days out edition)
>>Seriously--Google Docs for the win! I talked about this in my last wedding post but I have used Google Docs so much! Aside from being able to share the documents with Steven or my parents so we can all work off of and update one sheet, I also love that I can access my guest list on any of my devices. Whether I'm on our desktop, my laptop or my phone, I can always just log into my email and pull up the most updated list.
>>Don't put it off! If there is something that you can get done earlier on in the planning process, definitely DO IT. Don't put it off because then everything will start to pile up at the end and the last 3 months are already going to be jam-packed. Unfortunately some things have to wait like ordering table numbers, putting your seating chart together, picking out your menu etc. Anything I could do in advance I did and I'm so glad I did because now I fee like I can really enjoy my showers/Bach party without feeling crazy overwhelmed.
>>Ask him for help! I think [most] men are the same in that they want to be involved when it comes to certain things like uh.....FOOD. The end lol. But there have been times where I really need Steven's help or his opinion and I've noticed the more I've gotten him involved, the more he LIKES being involved. The first portion of our engagement I really was doing everything but these last few months have been SO much fun and SO exciting because Steven has gotten way more involved. It's his day too after all!
>>Let the vendors guide you! Obviously you don't want to compromise your own vision but something that has not only alleviated stress but also just really helped piece together my entire theme/vision was listening to the vendors and not being too opinionated. I went in to each meeting with each vendor and had a general idea of what I wanted but I let them give me their input and suggestions. They all gave me ideas that I never would have come up with and I just can't wait to see how it all turns out. They're the professionals for a reason!
>>Don't try to please everyone! I am 100% a people-pleaser. It's a blessing and a curse but when it comes to wedding planning I've had to accept that yes, people may have their own opinions but at the end of the day it's only about what Steven and I want!

Hope y'all enjoyed this wedding update! Have a wonderful weekend!

Party in the Back + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up

Sweater: Romwe (c/o), Jeans: Hudson, Boots: Steve Madden, Hat: J. Crew, Bag: BP
Happy Wednesday loves! Hope y'all are having a great week so far. It has been one of those weeks where on Monday I was already ready for the weekend! The last of our invites were mailed out yesterday so it has been super fun seeing the RSVPs rolling in already (we did online RSVP via The Knot). We also just ordered dining chairs yesterday so that's exciting! We've literally been in our house since last summer and have been living without dining chairs this whole time haha. Once the dining chairs get in, I promise to finally do the post on how Steven built our dining table. We made sure to document the whole thing!

Romwe always has the CUTEST sweaters for such an affordable price. I have been wanting one with this adorable twisted back detail and I absolutely adore it! I feel like it's going to be such a great transition piece as it starts to get warmer because the off-the-shoulder detail makes it cute for spring too!
