Pop of Red + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Vest: Catherine Malandrino, Tank: Madewell, Jeans: Articles of Society, Mules: Aldo, Bag: Tory Burch
Happy Hump Day! Crazy that this is my last post for the next week and a half while I'm away for the wedding/mini-moon. I thought I would go all out and not only do a blog post but I also have a new video for y'all linked below! I've had so much fun filming videos lately and I wish I honestly had started doing it sooner. These fun mules are included in my video along with my other top 5 Spring Essentials. I hope you guys enjoy it!

The wedding weekend itinerary is pretty much us arriving and checking in to the Inn that is on-site at our venue on Thursday. We are going to get a massage at the spa there and then just drop off the decor and go out to dinner with our friends and family that are arriving a day early. Friday, obviously, is the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner which will be so fun! We're going out for a few drinks after the rehearsal dinner as well with the rest of the out-of-towners. Saturday is wedding day and I couldn't be more excited! I'm definitely nervous but I just keep reminding myself that God will be watching over us and it will be just a beautiful day no matter what. Sunday, we're doing a little brunch with friends and family then we come home to get packed and Monday we leave for the beach!

Love y'all so much and truly appreciate all your kind words, advice, and well wishes as I've gone through the wedding planning process. I can't wait to share pictures from our special day when I get back!! See you on May 8th!

Spring Work-Wear

Turtleneck: Express, Pants: Express, Bag: Marc Jacobs, Heels: Sam Edelman, Sunnies: Ray-Ban
Happy Monday loves! Hope you had a great weekend. I'm writing this during my first week of wedding vacation so it's super nice to be home today! Wedding week is officially here and we have just been doing a few last minute things like putting together our welcome bags, wrapping gifts for our bridal party, etc. I have a few appointments to get my nails done and an airbrush spray tan! I'll definitely let you guys know how it goes. I've done spray tans in the booth but have never had the airbrush tan before! A little risky doing it for the first time on wedding week but this place has awesome reviews. Would love to hear if you guys have had a good airbrush tanning experience!

These pants are NECESSARY for your office wardrobe. They're obviously super cute to wear casually too but I love them for work. They're SO comfortable and they look super chic/put together. They come in a few other colors and I really want them in blush--obviously!

My Favorite Spring Lippies!

Happy Friday loves! I first just wanted to give you guys my upcoming posting schedule with the nuptials next weekend. I am planning to post Monday and Wednesday of next week but obviously won't be posting on Friday! I don't know if I have talked about it on the blog before but instead of doing a big honeymoon right after the wedding we're actually doing a "mini-moon" in the Outer Banks (NC) the week after the wedding then we're planning to go to Mexico in November. It was just too stressful for us to plan a big honeymoon RIGHT after the wedding especially since last year we just got our house! Anyway--because we just want that full week of relaxation while in the Outer Banks, I will be taking the week off from posting!

Today I wanted to share some of my absolute favorite spring lipsticks with the Sephora VIB sale going on and also there are just so many I'm loving at the moment!

Pinks:
Kylie "Candy K" Lip Kit--such a gorgeous mauve-y pink but it's very subtle. Just gives your lips a little bit of a rosy look and it's super matte. The liner that comes with it is AMAZING.
Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lip in "Babe Alert"--a brighter pink with more coral undertones. Definitely not too bright to wear on the daily!
Lorac Pro Matte Lip Color in "Mauve"--this is definitely a more rosy pink and is VERY comfortable on the lips. I am actually wearing this lipstick on my wedding day with this liner in "Romantic Rose."

Nudes:
Bareminerals GEN Nude Matt Liquid Lip in "Om"--this is a nude with more brown undertones but because the brown is very warm, it makes it totally wear-able and pretty for spring! So nice with a nude gloss over top!
Ciate Liquid Velvet in "Swoon"--this nude has more of a coral undertone but it's very subtle. I wore this lipstick for my engagement photos! Linked here.
Mac "Cherish"--I like a nude that doesn't wash you out and has a little bit of a warm undertone. This one is perfect for my olive skintone and is super comfortable on the lips. Also looks SO good with a nude gloss over top.
My two favorite nude glosses to pair with these are this one in "Sugar Sugar" and this one in "Bare Baby!"

Statement:
Mac "Flat Out Fabulous"--this is an awesome and super bright fuchsia lipstick! If you're a fan of the Bachelor, Kaitlyn Bristowe wore this a ton during her season. Don't ask how I know that!
Maybelline Color Sensational in "Orchid Ecstasy"--if you want a more toned down, hydrating version of "Flat Out Fabulous" this is the perfect color for you. It's still a brighter fuchsia shade BUT it's very hydrating and almost wears like a tinted chapstick so that sheers out the color in a good way.
Colourpop Lippie Stix in "I Heart This"--one of my favorite statement lip colors. It's a very pretty raspberry color! I don't think orange-y reds look good on me but the more raspberry reds work way better with my skin tone.
Mac "So Chaud"--though I just said I don't really like orange-y reds on myself, this one I actually do like! I think maybe because the orange has a little bit of yellow but it DOES work with my skin tone when I have a tan going!

Nature Walk + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Tank: Madewell, Jeans: BlankNYC, Scarf: Zara (old, similar here), Hat: Nordstrom (old, similar here), Booties: Steve Madden, Sunnies: Ray-Ban
Happy Hump Day y'all! Hope you're having a great week so far. This week has been flying by as I've been trying to wrap a lot up at work before my wedding leave starts on Friday! I've also been cramming so much into my gym sessions this week because I didn't go at ALL last week while I was sick. It's crazy how taking only a week off can make you feel like you haven't been to the gym in months!

We took these photos at the little park we found along the Potomac on Saturday. It was SUCH a gorgeous day and the trails were so scenic. I bought these booties while I was in NYC for my Bach party and I loved them so much that I had to get them in the camel color too! They are SO incredibly comfortable and I love the little cut-out on the side of the bootie.  They look adorable with shorts too so they're perfect for spring/summer!

You Need it ALL for Spring

Denim Jacket: J. Crew (you NEED it!), Tank: Free People, Jeans: Articles of Society, Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Mules: DV for Target
Happy Monday loves! Hope you had a great weekend and a wonderful Easter if you celebrate. Even though I was still getting over my cold, this was such a perfect weekend. After being SO busy every weekend for the last 2 months, it was so nice to have a weekend at home with Steven that was relatively relaxing. Saturday morning, I had my last dress fitting so it was a relief that everything fits and looks fabulous and we were able to take the dress home! After my fitting, I had every intention of just doing chores around the house but the day was so beautiful so Steven and I (with Toby) took a ride up to Great Falls Regional Park. There was literally no parking so we ended up going to a lesser known park a little further down on the Potomac and it was so fun to walk around and take photos. Sunday, my parents came up and we hosted Easter at our house. It was also an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day and so nice to be at home.

This is one of those outfits where I feel like y'all need literally everything I'm wearing. This denim jacket is my absolute favorite and I have been wearing it nonstop lately. Also, if you're looking for a good pair of white denim, look no further because this pair is AWESOME and under $60!! Lastly, this halter tank comes in so many different colors and I want them all. It's so cute and comfortable and the spring basic you definitely need.

Shopbop Sale Picks! [Last Day!!]

Earrings, Tote, Sandals, Mules, Bracelet, Blouse, Tunic, Sunnies
Happy Friday y'all! Hope you had a great week and have some fun weekend plans ahead. I'm still recovering from being sick unfortunately but my last dress fitting is tomorrow--so crazy!! Saturday afternoon we're going to try to get in a bunch of outfit shoots because it's the last time I'll be able to do any before the wedding! Sunday, we're having my parents over for the very first Easter in our house!

I'm sure at this point all of you have heard that Shopbop has a big sale going on right now and today is the last day! I just wanted to share some of my picks from the sale because I am LOVING so many of their items for summer. These turquoise earrings have been on my radar since last year and I finally pulled the trigger. Also, how cute are these studded sandals that are such a great dupe for the Valentino pair?! When checking out, use code "EVENT17" to get up to 25% off of your purchase!

Also--wanted to include the link to my latest YouTube video! It's a Spring Clothing Haul featuring some of my favorite most recent purchases--some of which are from Shopbop and included in the sale!

Spring Boho + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Top: Express (under $40!), Jeans: Topshop, Hat: Nordstrom (old, similar here), Bag: Marc Jacobs, Mules: DV for Target
Happy Hump Day guys! Hope you're having a great week so far. I, unfortunately, picked up a nasty cold so yesterday I worked from home to get some rest and today I'm feeling a tiny bit better. I think a lot of it is the shift from cold weather this weekend in NYC to 80 degrees here in VA also combined with getting no sleep during the Bach Party! Totally worth it!

This top I found on sale at Express and thought it was such a perfect print for transitioning into spring/summer. Darker florals (especially with long sleeves) are always great for transition pieces and I could easily wear this into the beginning of fall! As y'all can tell, I am absolutely obsessed still with my DV mules from Target. If you haven't picked them up yet, you need to! I can't stop wearing them.

Quick Bachelorette Party Recap!

We planned to make lipsticks at the Bite Beauty studio but unfortunately they put us on the wait list and nothing opened up! It was still cool to see the inside of the studio though!
Such a yummy little bakery in Soho! The cookies were AMAZING!
Shopping in Soho!
Dinner and dancing at Vandal in lower Manhattan
Probably my favorite part of the trip was the Silent Disco! If you've never been to one you NEED to go!

Happy Monday loves! Sorry I'm a little late getting my post up today and for the brevity. As expected, I'm SO exhausted this morning after my Bachelorette weekend in NYC. It was an absolute BLAST! Hope you enjoy the recap (linking up with Biana from B Loved Boston) and I'll be back with an outfit post on Wednesday.
xoxo

White Ruffles + Fashion Frenzy Link-Up!

Top: Bobeau (identical here), Jeans: BlankNYC, Wedges: Steve Madden, Bag: Marc Jacobs
Happy Hump Day! Hope y'all are having a great week so far. I have been totally checked out since yesterday because I am just READY for my Bachelorette weekend to be here! Tomorrow night my MOH and I are driving up to NYC together and then the festivities begin Friday when the rest of the group arrives. I probably will be skipping my blog post again on Friday because I don't know what our internet situation is going to be like at th AirBNB. Plus--I, of course, just want to enjoy and soak up every minute of the fun!

I am totally in love with the ruffles trend this spring and when I saw this top at Nordstrom Rack I knew I had to have it. It was such a great deal so if you live near a Nordstrom Rack make sure to stop by! The brand is Bobeau. If you can't find it or don't live near a Rack store, I linked to one that's basically identical! Also--these wedges were such a great deal and are such a great dupe for the Chloe platform wedges. I love all taupe accessories right now!

Hope y'all have a fabulous rest of your week and I'll be back on Monday!!

Perfect Casual LBD

Dress: Lush, Hat: Nordstrom (old, similar here), Sandals: Sam Edelman, Clutch: Free People (almost identical here--OBSESSED), Lip Color: BareMinerals in "Weekend"
Happy Monday y'all! Hope you had a great weekend. This was the last weekend before all the wedding craziness gets even crazier since we're within the month! This upcoming weekend is my Bachelorette party in NYC which I'm SO beyond excited for! Since I'll be gone all the upcoming weekend, I wanted to spend this weekend finalizing our seating chart, putting together some last little decor for the wedding, and I got my hair color touched up on Saturday. I haven't worn my hair straight in probably over a year so seeing my hair in these photos was weird! My stylist didn't straighten it but she just styled it really nicely with the blowdryer.

A simple, casual black dress like this one is SUCH a closet staple. I am so excited to wear it on repeat through spring and summer. I love it paired with a jean jacket or moto jacket or just on it's own! It's super flowy and comfortable and VERY flattering. Also now that warm weather is back--y'all know what that means! Hats are going to be back in rotation. I'm the biggest hat lover especially during the warmer months. I think they just make every outfit so cute and boho!
