Home Decor Favorites!

Happy Monday friends! Hope you had a great weekend. Ours was fun but busy again! I feel like by the time Sunday night rolls around I can't believe how quickly the weekend flew by because we've been pretty much out and about the entire time. Not a bad problem to have though!

As many of you probably know, we moved back to the DC area about 3 months ago and we are renting a townhome for the next 2 years while we decide where we want to buy. Our rental is very nice but there are definitely aspects of it that I wish I could change--that's the tough part about renting! The wall colors definitely aren't what I would pick but fortunately most of them are neutral enough that we can make it work. I think because of the wall colors and the layout of the house, I'm really struggling with decorating this time around! I thought I would create this post not only to give y'all some inspo but also to inspire myself.

One thing I have discovered over the years as we've moved and I've redecorated a few different spaces is my design style. I think I definitely gravitate towards classic pieces with some rustic/farmhouse elements. I don't know if "shabby chic" is a design style but if it is, that's definitely what I usually go for! I always go for blues, whites/creams and some pops of green in the main living space and usually in the bedrooms I go for grey & white. Honestly, that probably won't ever change because I have loved those color palettes for years and years!

A few of these items we already have and some of them are on my radar to purchase. We have yet to find a dining table we love but when we do, I ADORE this floral ginger jar. I think it will make the perfect centerpiece! I also really want to purchase these botanical prints from Etsy. I think they will create the perfect gallery wall in our dining area.
