My Favorite Summer Make-Up Products!

Happy Monday loves! Hope y'all had an amazing weekend. Ours was the BEST! There was a surprise birthday party for my sweet bestie Kate so a ton of our friends (including ones from out of town) + her family all got together to celebrate. We had our friends from South Carolina staying with us so the whole weekend was a blast! It's times like this where I'm even happier to be living closer to my friends and family.

Today, let's talk make-up. I don't switch up my routine a TON depending on the season but there are some products that I swap in and out that I thought I would share my summer favorites with y'all today!

Face:
--Drunk Elephant Sunshine Drops: I've been using this product for about a year and although I use it year round, I am a very avid user in the summer months because I self-tan all summer long. This product not only helps with matching the skin on my face to my body but it also gives the most beautiful bronze glow under your makeup. It could be in my head...but I actually think that my skin has improved since using this product. It could be something else in my routine but I swear that I rarely (knock on wood) get breakouts and my skin looks much more even/supple since using this.
--Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer (Illuminating): Y'all I am OBSESSED with this product. I started using it about 2 months ago so it is relatively new but it is absolutely amazing. I will say that I like it A LOT more when it's paired with the Drunk Elephant tanning lotion. I think they just pair SO beautifully together but it is still a great product on it's own. It definitely is NOT full coverage at all but honestly, I'm not about full coverage at all. I prefer my base to look very natural and radiant and this product gives me all of that!
-Becca Blush in Songbird: Ok so I'm very confused. As I was trying to link this blush...I think it may have been discontinued? I can't find it on Sephora's website and I'm very sad about it! This blush is one of my absolute favorites and has been for years. It is very peachy/bronze in tone and has a subtle shimmer. I sure hope it wasn't discontinued because I'll need to savor every last bit of it!
--Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in "Rose Gold": I love all the Becca highlighters (I think have 5 or 6 shades which is a little excessive) but something about pairing this Rose Gold shade under my pink blushes in summer I LOVE. It just gives this really pretty rosy glow to your cheeks and you look like you have a natural suntan.
--Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter Wand: I use this one A LOT but especially on days where I want a very natural look overall. It really just makes your skin look wet and like you're glowing from within. I don't think anyone would actually notice that it's make-up...they would just assume your skin is THAT glowy which I LOVE!

I use the Hourglass Bronzer all year round so that one isn't summer specific. I have raved about it for years and I probably will never ever get tired of it. I do want to eventually give the Becca one a try!

Lips:
--Laura Mercier Velour Lipstick in "Vibe": Again, I love this color all year but it is the PERFECT shade for summer. It is a peachy brown nude which is my absolute favorite. The peach tones look gorgeous with tan skin!
--Tom Ford Lipstick in "Blush Nude": This lipstick was a huge splurge a few years ago and I have to say it was worth every penny in my opinion. I will say that I don't go for lipsticks this nude year round but during summer I feel like I can pull it off since I have more of a tan! It's a GORGEOUS lipstick and so hydrating.

**If you don't want to invest in the Tom Ford lippie, Maybelline makes a lipstick called "Baddest Beige" which I also LOVE and it is a great dupe for a fraction of the cost! I have to say that after I discovered this, I was pretty mad at myself for buying the Tom Ford one haha.

Tan:
--St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse: Ok guys, I have tried about a billion self-tanning products and this one is my all-time favorite. I don't think I'll ever use anything else! I have tried Loving Tan, Fake Bake, St. Moriz, L'oreal, Million Dollar Tan, a bunch of other St. Tropez products and this one is just the best for me. I have dry skin and this product doesn't dry my skin out and it also applies so nice and evenly. While you can rinse it off after 2 hours, I sleep overnight to get an extra dark look. I will say that it is a little sticky for a bit so you will want to wear long sleeves/sweatpants after applying so you don't get it on your sheets/furniture. It's definitely worth it though because it is such a flawless looking tan!
