My Top 5 Restaurants in NYC

Happy Friday y'all! Hope you had a great week and have some fun weekend plans ahead. We're keeping Saturday pretty open because I definitely need to get caught up on sleep and blog posts! Sunday, we're going to a winery with two other couples so that will be very fun. The weather looks like it's going to be awesome!

Jumping right into today's post, I wanted to share some of my all-time favorite NYC restaurants because if you have been following me for a while, you probably know that I go up to the city 3-4 times a year. I'm lucky enough to have a best friend that lives in the city so she always finds or knows of some gems! A few of these I've only been to once or twice but others are regular stops whenever we visit.

1.) Nomo Soho--you have probably seen this restaurant on a ton of other blogger Instagrams because it has to be one of the prettiest restaurants I've ever been to! It almost looks like a greenhouse but with gorgeous chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and the yummiest avocado toast I've ever had. Definitely add this to your list if you're planning to spend a day shopping in Soho!

2.) La Pecora Bianca--I had seen a few other bloggers talk about this spot so we made sure to stop by during one of our trips for brunch. If I remember right, it isn't too far from Chelsea Market/the High Line so it's a great place to grab food before hitting up those spots. I was immediately in love with the marble tables and the decor in general. Their french toast was phenomenal and if you're a fan of latte art, this place is great!

3.) Bluestone Lane--This is one that I keep meaning to go back to! We went a few years ago and I was just so smitten with the little hanging plants and the cozy atmosphere. This is another place where you have to get the avocado toast. It's a close second to Nomo Soho!

4.) Beyoglu--The last two or three times we have gone to NYC this has been our late lunch stop after a day of shopping. It's near where my best friend lives (on the Upper East side) so she recommended it and we've been in love ever since. It's a great place to share food with friends because they have so many fabulous Mediterranean tapas! When you go, ORDER THE SHRIMP. It's the best grilled shrimp ever and the bread + hummus is amazing too. I can't believe I don't have any pics at Beyoglu since I feel like we eat here most! I think we're just too busy chowing down to take Instagram pics!
5.) El Rio Grande--Another place we have frequented with the best margaritas! This was another recommendation from Maddie and let me just say if you're looking for a good place to pre-game or just get a nice happy buzz going, get a pitcher of margaritas to split with friends and you'll be set for the night. It has a really fun vibe and I think it's the perfect spot pre-going out.

Hope y'all enjoyed this post! Have a great weekend!!

  11. Sundays are meant for wine, haha! I hope you have a wonderful time at the winery, girlie, and that you can catch up on some sleep! As for these restaurants, I haven't been to any of them, so I really appreciate you sharing. The next time I'm around these areas, I'll have to check them out. Nomo is definitely a popular one that I've been wanting to go to for a while; I heard their avo toast is amazing and I see that's what you had. Thanks for sharing, beauty, and again, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
