Favorite 2019 Memories!

The year started off with us still living in Boston! We were enjoying exploring a city that was still new to us while still trying to stay warm!
We tried so many restaurants when we were in Boston and enjoyed every minute of it. This was one of our favorite brunch spots--Frenchie in the South End! Shared more of our favorite Boston brunch spots in this post here.
Visiting Salem was one of my favorite things we did while living in New England and it was also one of the last. At this point we knew we were moving back to the DC area!
After a little less than a year in Boston, we packed up everything and moved to Maryland to be closer to family & also for a new job for Steven. After an incredibly challenging year, I was so thrilled to be back home closer to a support system! Shared more about why we moved in this post.
One of the first things we did when we moved back was visiting the Wharf. This is a relatively new area in DC that we had never been and it was one of my favorite days ever! Such a fun area to explore and once it warms up again, we can't wait to go back.
We also discovered one of our favorite nearby cities to visit is Frederick. The historic downtown area is the CUTEST and if you love antiquing you would love it there. This was the first of many trips we made there over the summer!
A favorite memory in general is being so close to friends! Even when living in Virginia before Boston, I felt somewhat disconnected so being this close to everyone again is amazing!
Our trip to Charleston for a wedding was such a highlight! I hadn't been there in years and I just fell in LOVE with the city. Steven and I had the best time!
As you can see, we spent a lot of the summer by the water! Visiting Annapolis was also such a blast and it's another city I haven't been to in years. It's incredibly close to our wedding venue so it gave us all the feels!
Surprising one of my besties who lives in NYC for her birthday was another highlight! It was such a fun weekend and she was SO surprised!
As soon as fall rounded the corner, we headed to Butler's Orchard for cider donuts, pumpkin picking and more. Such a fun memory and it was the perfect way to head into the season!
Fall in Georgetown was INCREDIBLY picturesque and I highly recommend visiting if you're ever in the DC area in September/October. Those leaves were on another level!
Our autumn trip to Vermont was probably my favorite memory from the year! It was such a laidback but awesome trip. Woodstock is just the prettiest little town and we definitely will be visiting again soon!
Being home for the holidays:)

Hope y'all enjoyed this post! I mentioned on Instagram I've been struggling with coming up with blog content that I'm excited about but I have some ideas and am excited for another year!
