My Favorite Summer Accessories 2018
Happy Friday loves! Hope y'all had a great week and have some fun weekend plans ahead. This is our last weekend in our house so we have a ton to do! Plus we have my family reunion on Saturday so that will be fun and also nice to see everyone before the big move.
I feel like Spring and Summer 2018 have been the seasons of accessories for me! There are SO many adorable items from bags to shoes to jewelry. My closet is loving it but my wallet...not so much! Thank goodness our Boston apartment has pretty decent storage space. In this post I wanted to share my absolute FAVORITE accessory purchases from this season! Truly everything I have included below has gotten a ton of wear so far and I feel like they will all carry well into next year too.

Happy Wednesday loves! Hope you're having a great week so far. Unfortunately with the move right around the corner we just haven't had time on the weekends to fit in any outfit shoots but I promise they will be coming soon! And with a new Boston backdrop!
Today I just wanted to share some outfit ideas that would work perfectly for 4th of July. I LOVE wearing blue and white during the summertime so it wasn't too hard to find plenty of outfits where you can just add a pop of red and you'll be all set!
What are your plans for 4th of July this year?!

Classic Wardrobe Staples Every Girl Needs!
![]() |
Blouse, Blazer, Pants, Cardigan, Bag, Skirt, Heels, Black Blouse |
Happy Monday loves! Hope you had a great weekend. Honestly mine FLEW by because we spent most of the weekend packing! We only have one more weekend before the move and there is still so much to do. It's definitely coming along though and I'm glad that we haven't been procrastinating too much!
While I love trying out and buying trendy pieces, I always tend to gravitate back towards the classic, more timeless items. It's so nice to have so many go-to pieces that you can style SO many different ways plus each year you can continue to reach for them! I have this black blazer and it really is one of the most versatile and most worn pieces in my wardrobe. You really can never have too many blazers especially in neutral colors! I also recently purchased this very pretty black, sheer blouse--it's perfect for work, date night, etc. I also have been getting the urge to buy a new bag recently and this one is just GORGEOUS. I love anything Saint Laurent and this one would be such a timeless addition!
Would love to know what items are staples in your wardrobe and where you love to shop for them!

Summer Sweater & Shorts + FF Link-Up!
![]() |
Sweater: River Island, Shorts: AGOLDE, Wedges: Treasure & Bond, Bag: Amazon, Hat: South Moon Under (similar here) |
Happy Wednesday loves! Keeping this post pretty brief today because this week has been SO busy. All I have to say is you NEED this sweater in your life! It's so comfortable and lightweight enough to pair with shorts during the summertime like I did here. I also got it on MAJOR sale! Also, if you're looking for a good, flattering pair of denim shorts--these are amazing! They are pricey but worth it considering I typically hate wearing shorts. I have been wearing these nonstop!

My Current Fitness Routine!
Happy Monday loves! Hope y'all had a great weekend. Ours was SO nice mainly because the weather was just beautiful! Lots of dinners/lunches al fresco which I always LOVE! Friday we met up with friends we haven't seen for a while for mucho margs and Mexican. Saturday, we spent most of the day packing and I also got my hair done. I went a little blonder for summer and I LOVE how it turned out! Sunday, they had a little festival near our house with lots of food and handmade goodies so Steven and I browsed that then we grabbed tacos for lunch.
I am pretty proud of myself because the last 2 years I have been very consistent in my fitness. I definitely have seen a big transformation in my body especially over the last 6 or so months! I just wanted to share my current routine and what has been working really well for me. With my current work schedule/life schedule the maximum workouts I can fit in is 4 days a week. Once we move to Boston and we have a nice gym actually in our building I expect to go more though!
Note: Below are just the exercises I stick to most but I do try to switch up my routine a decent amount!
Day 1 (Legs and Abs)
--Leg Presses (15 reps, 140 lbs, 4x) - I do these pretty much every time I go into the gym because I swear that these give me the most results in the quads/booty area
--Standing Side Leg Raises with Extra Heavy Resistance Bands (15 reps, 4x)--I use these resistance bands and typically grab the extra heavy one. I try to alternate this work-out with the leg presses!
--Squats with Extra Heavy Resistance Bands (15 reps, 4x)
--Weighted Hip Thrusts (15 reps, 4x, 45 lbs)
--Abs: I usually do mountain climbers, planks (with opposite knee to elbow crunch--google this exercise because it's amazing), v-ups on bosu ball, weighted tuck-ups, etc.
Day 2 (Cardio)
--2ish mile run with the hubby and pup followed with some ab exercises at home
Day 3 (Arms and Abs)
I try to super-set a lot of these exercises to speed things up
--Alternating bicep curls (15 lbs, 15 reps per arm, 4x)
--Lateral raises (12.5 lbs, 15 reps, 4x)
--Dumbbell shoulder press (12.5 lbs, 15 reps, 4x)
--Tricep dips (I use the work-out bench, 15 reps, 4x)
--Upright dumbbell row (10 lbs, 15 reps, 4x)--these are my favorite!
--Seated Cable Row (10 lbs, 15 reps, 4x)
--Narrow Grip Pulldowns (40 lbs, 15 reps, 4x)
--Abs: I usually do mountain climbers, planks (with opposite knee to
elbow crunch), v-ups on bosu
ball, weighted tuck-ups, etc.
At the end, I also usually throw in a few rounds on the leg press machine because like I said before, it does wonders for the legs/booty!

Day 4 (Cardio)
--2ish mile run with the hubby and pup or spin class followed with some ab exercises at home.
What types of work-outs do you like to do?!

Decor Ideas for our Boston Apartment! [Airy Neutrals]
![]() |
Vase, Pillow, Wall Mirror Set, Faux Tree, Candle, Throw, Window Mirror, Flower Art, Tray |
Happy Friday loves! Hope y'all had a great week and have some fun weekend plans ahead. We have plans to go to dinner with friends tonight--it's sad because every time we see each of our friends over the last few weeks we realize it's probably the last time we will see them for a while! This weekend we are getting super serious about packing! We are getting rid of big furniture pieces that we won't be bringing along for the move and are going to start packing more of the major items we will be bringing to Boston. It looks like the weather is going to be gorgeous this weekend so I'm hoping we can spend as much of it outside as possible!
Something that always detracts from the stress or sadness of a move for me is focusing on how I will decorate our next home. I love how we have our house decorated now so most of that stuff will go into decorating the apartment however I did want to do a little bit of a refresh and swap out some items for new ones! Right now we do have a lot of neutrals going on but I also have a lot of blue accents. I definitely want to keep some blue pieces to add a little color but I want everything to mostly be pretty bright and neutral because our apartment has a lot of darker toned woods/granite.
I actually just purchased the tray above and am obsessed! It's even prettier in person. The rest of these are on my wish list but I will probably wait to buy until we are up in Boston!

Yellow Floral for Summer + FF Link-Up!
![]() |
Top: River Island, Jeans: Levi's, Mules: Sole Society, Bag: Etsy (identical here and here), Sunnies: Ray-Ban, Earrings: J. Crew |
This top is essentially summer in fabric form! It has been years since I have had so many yellow items in my closet. It is just the color I am gravitating towards this summer and I think it's partially because it makes me look tanner! What colors are you loving this summer?

My Favorite Summer Dresses Under $100!
Happy Monday friends! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was definitely fun and busy! If you follow me on IG you might have seen that we went to our county's fair which is always a blast but this year Good Charlotte was playing and I was OBSESSED with them when I was in middle school through a lot of high school too. My screenname was literally Benjisbaby77 for a little while haha! Had to share a picture from the concert of Steven and I because you can just see the excitement. I have to say that they were actually still SO good live!
Saturday we grabbed dinner with friends and Sunday we just got caught up on our shows and relaxed!
There are SO many summer dresses that I have my eye on from casual to more dressy for a summer wedding or event. Sharing a few on my wish list below that are under $100!

I have been in LOVE with wearing big statement earrings probably for the last 3 or so years and I feel like 2018 brought so many adorable options! They're such a fun piece to add to any outfit especially since I'm the queen of wearing neutrals. Sharing some of my favorites and some others on my wish list today!

My Favorite Beauty Products for Summer!
Happy Monday loves! Hope you had a great weekend. This weekend was a busy one! We continued packing up our place and also are doing a couple things around the house to make it ready for new renters. We also had my cousin's graduation party on Sunday which was fun but unfortunately the weather just sucked--super rainy and humid. I am so ready for sunnier days around here. Maybe it will rain less in Boston?! We'll see!
I get WAY more excited about make-up and beauty products during the spring and summertime because my skin FINALLY starts to look good and feel normal for once. I have eczema and pretty dry skin all over my body including my face so make-up never wears quite like I want it to during fall and winter. During summer I feel like a whole new woman! I go for SUPER glowy, natural skin during the warmer season. Glowy + sheer CC cream, shimmery bronzer, liquid or cream highlighter and blush that has some sort of shimmer or sheen! Basically the goal is to look sweaty all the time haha.
